"We loved the surroundings of the hotel - a truly spectacular landscape of Provence. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The receptionist lady was extremely attentive and helpful. As the hotel does not have an elevator and we were travelling with a toddler and lived in the second floor, she quickly provided us with a solution to store the stroller. She also gave us very good recommendations for nearby restaurant. We also appreciated the hotel’s restaurant (very experienced chef and staff) and the peace and tranquility of this accommodation."

"The location of the Domaine, architecture and its location in the midst of a beautiful garden and landscape make it certainly a special place. The two pools offer plenty of sun beds and enough space for relaxation. The staff was friendly, kind and helpful, everyone tried very hard to make our stay as pleasant as possible."

"The overall experience at Domaine Perreal feels after nine days there somewhat amateurish. One gets the feeling that they haven’t quite figured out what they want to be, a b&b, a hotel, a guesthouse? A few examples. The restaurant is neither for lunch nor for dinner open throughout the week but rather on selected days. There is no pool kitchen or similar offering guests the possibility to quickly fix up a meal by themselves either. We were not informed about this upfront and would have been in deep trouble had we not made plenty of restaurant reservations in advance, as those get booked quickly in summer. Especially closing on a Sunday when almost all restaurants in the region shut down is in our view not acceptable. During evenings in which there is no service you will thus find a completely dead bar and terrace area, including turned off lights if you’re unlucky. The food served was at best mediocre and after having eaten there for the second time in the hope that the quality would improve we did not return, unfortunately our experience was shared with other guests we spoke to as well. Apparently the chef changed between the seasons, perhaps this explains the discrepancy with earlier reviews. The rooms are only cleaned upon request (we were being asked if somebody should make our bed every other morning) which - considering the price of the rooms - is not ok. The bathrooms don’t provide any shampoo and body cleansing gel, which seems to be at odds with the quality level Perreal wants to establish itself at. The reception was often unstaffed and seemed a little messy due to its connection with an open kitchen. The internet quality can only be described as terrible. I could go on but the point is that our experience was not entirely convincing. We hope that the domaine will live up to its full potential in the coming years, the place certainly deserves it."

"very nice location, quiet place with nice views and a gorgeous garden! in the center of the Luberon area with quick access to all the interesting places. Also enjoyed an excellent dinner and wine on our last evening. We plan to come back during our next Provence trip!"
